This Kozuka is Mumei but has been attributed to the Ko-goto Tradition. 'Ko-goto' means the item was crafted before the Edo Period by the Goto Tradition, including the Goto branches as well. However, it is difficult to specify who crafted. This kozuka depicts 'Shioya'. Shioya is a cottage where salt is made with pails on the seashore. A traditional way to make salt.
