| The theme of this pair of Menuki is 2 Mitsu-domoe and an Ivy Leaf Crest, The tomoe design appears in many designs with various uses. It appears to be three commas. When circumscribed in a circle, it often appears in a set of three, with this design known as the Mitsu-domoe. Ivy leaf is a symbol of prosperity because the ivy vines extend without limitation. This design depicts three crests one of an ivy leaf the other two are Mitsu-domoe. On the backside, it was made with In-yo-kon. |
