| This Kogatana comes with a saya made of bamboo. On the backside of the blade, a poem was engraved as well as the Mei of Narimichi. The swordsmith was Ishii Narimichi. He was born in 1962 in Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture and became an official swordsmith in 1993. He received many awards through the cotemporary swordsmith events. He has a high reputation of forging Kogatana. The total length of this Kogatana is 19.7cm, the blade length is 12cm, and the width of the blade is 1.2cm. |
