| This craftsman, Toshikage, was a disciple of Toryusai Tanaka Kiyotoshi. The theme of this Tsuba is Setsugetsuka; Snow, Moon, and a flower; Beauty of the Four Seasons. The features show the work of the Toryusai Tradition. The simple designs are outstanding and intricate. The ornamental Sekigane has Kuchibeni at the top and bottom of the Nakago-ana. At a glance it is easy to understand this is a Toryuisai Tradition Tsuba. It has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu Shinsa in 2024. |
