| The theme of this tsuba is Little Cuckoos in the Morning Mist. Little cuckoo heralds the arrival of summer. This tsuba depicts little cuckoos flying in the morning mist. The iron is well forged, with elaborate ji-sukashi/open work technique and a refined composition. It is probably the Akasaka Tradition. |
