| The waves never stop coming and going, and as an auspicious motif, they represent eternity, immortality, longevity, birth, and so on, as well as eternal peace. This tsuba features a surface with waves carved into it using sukidashi-kebori techniques, brass drops inlay pattern with splashes of water and a Yoshiro-style brass inlay pattern with Dote-mimi rim. |
