Other Info
The style of this tsuba is similar to the Mino-bori tradition, and they were decorated with beautiful gold-colored giltings and intricate carvings of flowers, birds, and autumn insects. They were a group that lived within Kozenji Temple in Nagoya, Owari Province in the late Edo period and formed a school, but they did not have any signed works, and are known as the Mino Goto or Kozenji school.
